Ingredients:

- 3.5 dl of water

- 1 tablespoon of oil

- 40 g of fresh yeast

- A pinch of salt

- About 400 g of flour

Instructions:

1. In a mixing bowl, combine the water, oil, fresh yeast, and a pinch of salt.

2. Gradually add the flour while stirring until a dough forms. The dough should be soft enough to mix with a spoon but not too thick that it cannot be worked on the work surface.

3. Beat the dough well and let it rest for 15-20 minutes to rise.

4. After the resting period, mix the dough again and let it rest for another 15-20 minutes. Repeat this process once more.

5. Once the dough has risen sufficiently, transfer it onto a well-floured surface. Gently shape the dough, being careful not to deflate it.

6. Preheat the oven and a baking sheet to 270-300°C (the highest temperature setting).

7. Sprinkle the hot baking sheet with flour, then carefully transfer the shaped dough onto it. Allow the dough to rise for about 30 minutes.

8. Bake the pogača in the preheated oven until it turns golden brown.

9. Once baked, remove the pogača from the oven and transfer it onto a cloth to cool. Avoid covering or wrapping the bread as it is naturally soft.
