Chocolate Pudding

Indulge in the rich and creamy decadence of homemade chocolate pudding, a luxurious treat that melts in your mouth with every spoonful. Made with simple ingredients like eggs, cocoa, milk, and dark chocolate, this dessert is sure to satisfy your sweet cravings.

Ingredients:

- 4 eggs

- 2 tablespoons of cocoa

- 6 dl whole milk

- 3 dl whipping cream

- 1⁄2 dl coffee (optional)

- 75 grams of sugar

- 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar

- 50 grams of cornstarch

- 200 grams dark cooking chocolate (60%)

- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt

Instructions:

1. Separate the yolks from the egg whites. Set aside the egg whites for later use.

2. In a saucepan, whisk together the egg yolks and cocoa.

3. Add the milk, cream, coffee (if using), sugar, vanilla sugar, and cornstarch. Mix well.

4. Place the saucepan over low heat and bring the mixture to a boil, stirring continuously. Be cautious not to let it burn; the mixture will thicken due to the eggs and cornstarch.

5. Once the mixture starts to boil gently, remove it from the heat.

6. Chop the chocolate and add it along with a pinch of salt to the warm mixture. Stir until the chocolate has melted completely.

7. Pour the chocolate pudding into serving glasses or molds. To ease unmolding, rinse the molds with ice-cold water before adding the pudding.

8. Refrigerate the pudding for at least 3 hours until set.

9. Serve the chocolate pudding with homemade custard, whipped cream, and/or fresh berries for a delightful finishing touch.
